Best Tom Yum Soup in Thailand!
After you book, you'll need to contact them to organise transportation to and from the hotel (it's an hour and a half drive from Chiang Mai) as well as any meals you may want while staying.
When it comes to transportation, they will offer an add-on of stopping at a local market and visiting a waterfall. DO THIS! It's only 150 Baht/pp. You can pick up snacks, fruits and bug spray at the market and the waterfall is stunning and a lot of fun to climb up. Yeah, you heard me - you can climb this waterfall.
With regards to food, there are very limited options off-resort, and the food they provide is spectacular and reasonably priced, so I would recommend hitting them up for every meal. Best Tom Yum soup we had in our entire trip. Best fried fish I've ever tasted. Best everything!
If you decide to borrow a bike to explore the area please check the brakes before you head off! The bikes have not been serviced in a long time.
Only downside was the cleanliness of the rooms. We found a fingernail clipping in our bed one night, and the duvet did not appear to have been washed prior to our stay. We ended up using our own sheets.
