"Warm welcome at the front desk. I mentioned we were going out for dinner. He gave me a sheet with names and addresses of restaurants and explained that at our hotel the bar had pizza. Our room is clean and has everything we need. "

"This auberge is a little gem. A warm and friendly inn keeper, a friendly cat, a beautiful quiet lakeside location, a clean cheery well appointed room. The property is more motel than hotel since the rooms are down the hill from the main house and have outdoor entrances however he living room and the porch are open for use by the guests. The rooms are well equipped with coffee pots, a toaster, a microwave, and a little cabinet with dishes, glasses, and silverware. Be advised that unlike some of the older reviews there is no restaurant on the premises and they do not serve breakfast. This was a lovely little surprise after a long day of travel! "
