"The hotel was generally nice enough, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant overall atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the stay was enjoyable in many ways. However, the communal toilets in the bar area were disappointing, as they were not very clean and some of the taps were not working, which let the standard down. It was also frustrating that the bar closed to residents quite early, limiting the chance to relax later in the evening. Overall, an acceptable stay, but a few improvements would make a big difference."

"Rooms are not particularly pleasant. Not a cleanliness issue but they look quite worn down. The brown stool in the corner of the room looks out of place. Space isn't great.
Staff and the equipment at reception is a real issue. The laptop/computer used on thr day of my checkin was clearly quite slow and unable to process information quickly. I didn't feel the staff member on duty had control of the situation and was flustered quite easily, muttering away. I'm sure it wasn't an easy situation but it didn't come across as very professional to me.
Distance to the city centre is a relatively short walk so it has that going for it.
Generally from payment, room and staff perspective, there are better options in Sheffield. "

"Limited paid car park. Beyond basic room. Not appropriate for kids. The shower isn't in a bathroom. Tiny tiny toilet! "

"It was ok. It was my wife’s 40th and wasn’t much of a fuss made and the room was really small. We had another couple stay at the same hotel at the same time paid less and they was offered a bigger room on arrival and free parking. They had a bigger room for free and they paid less and they was celebrating me wife’s 40th which was disappointing. Other than that it was a Nike clean today place and staff was welcoming "

"This hotel is amazing. We’ve been coming here as a family of 4 for over 7 years and every time it’s great. We’ve especially come for the pool and breakfast which are both excellent. I’d like to highlight the exemplary breakfast staff who do their upmost to make sure it’s special. Special hot chocolate? No problem. Special hot muffins? No problem.
We use the family sized rooms and they’re great for a family of 4 with 2 big kids."
