Great Stay in the Heart of Donegal We recently stayed at the Central Donegal Hotel and had a really good experience. The location is perfect—right in the center of town and close to everything we wanted to see. The room was comfortable and clean, and while parking wasn’t included, there was a paid lot nearby that made things easy. We opted for the paid buffet breakfast, which was tasty and convenient before heading out for the day. Like many places in Ireland, the room didn’t have air conditioning, but we were able to open the window and get enough ventilation to stay comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We’d definitely recommend the Central Donegal Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Everything was perfect. Rooms clean, tidy and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious Staff were friendly and cery helpful. If i could give more than 5 stars I would give 10/10

This hotel would be difficult to navigate if you require mobility assistance. Stairs everywhere. No AC. I brought Small fan. Do not know if fans are available for the room. Rooms were clean. No washcloths. Requested extra hand towel for washing. The pub had live music the night we were there. Cute downtown area. Right in the middle. The view of the water was beautiful. Self parking in paid city parking. Does have an indoor pool and workout room.

Lovely historic property in lively town. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Hotel staff were cheerful and helpful. Facility was not as up to date as some. We still received a physical room key - which was a fun change. The bar downstairs has live music and so was a little loud, and there were people in the hallway late at night making noise. So if you are looking for a place that is very quiet, this would not be your place.

Central hotel

Had a lovely stay in the Central Donegal town. The staff at reception were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacios, very warm and clean. Great location in the middle of the square.
