"Great location and loved the room and artwork everywhere. It was a great room and liked how there was a separation door between the two rooms. I wish there was more communication. I tried reaching out about my room details, but was left unanswered. Lucky, the room situation with the two beds works out! Overall, loved the room, beds were a bit firm (but I like more firm beds) and everything was nice and clean. Would stay there again!"

"Our room was lovely and just what we needed. The staff was helpful. The only drawback was that they were doing construction and the parking was not right at the hotel. We had to go around the back and up some stairs to park in an adjacent lot which wasn’t very convenient when it came to our luggage. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back another time. There are dining options inside the hotel that you need reservations for. We opted to walk across the parking lot and go to a pub nearby."

The only downfall I can find is that there was no parking on site. The parking was in another building (only a short walking distance) but it was another fee to have to pay."

There was some traffic noise at night due to the busy road outside, but the double glazing and heavy curtains did a good job of keeping it to a low level. The staff were genuinely friendly and extremely helpful, and both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent."

"We had a very warm arrival and our room was ready early but unfortunately when we arrived the to I’ll et hadn’t been flushed so worryingly not cleaned. I mentioned this to reception staff and we were offered another room but chose to have toilet cleaned as we had already unpacked. The bedrooms are in need of an upgrade and I can’t wait to see what they do as the decor in The Leaping Hound bar/restaurant is absolutely stunning. We had delicious scones, coffee and Prosecco on arrival then returned for pre dinner cocktail which were absolutely delicious. I hope they light the fires in the adult only sitting areas as this would be extremely cosy in the winter. Our meal in Fratellis was delicious. The decor in here is beautiful with atmospheric lighting and tables spaced nicely apart. The beds were extremely comfortable but I hope they do soundproofing on the rooms when upgrading as we were woken up by doors banging and children crying after midnight. This hotel very much caters for family stays and I was disappointed to see they no longer have spa treatments as this used to be a highlight of this hotel. The breakfast staff were again fantastic. A nice choice but the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious! Tasted like a home cooked breakfast."

The little touches in the room really made it feel boutique. There was a fire in the sitting room which was lovely. Breakfast was very tasty. Would highly recommend staying here!"
