"I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Kokono resort. The service was exceptional by staff. The resort if very quaint, peaceful yet full of its own little luxuries such as the beach, the view and the exceptional staff. The food was diverse each night and delicious. This was a birthday trip for me in which the staff made me feel celebrated by decorating my room and making me a cake! It was so sweet and pleasantly delightful. Just note that they are located in the village which means the roads are not greatly intact which makes traveling into and out of the village very bumpy and there is no gym which forces true relaxation but they do provide some aquatic activities. I recommend this as 9/10 and plan on returning on my next trip to Zanzibar!"

"Highly recommend staying at Mvuvi if staying on the east side of the island! Staff was always attentive and made sure our stay was wonderful. Both restaurants were fantastic! It was easy to book all of our excursions through Mvuvi and made it super convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. "

"They were wonderful and very accommodating to any changes we needed! Loved the spa and pool area. The staff and services were also 10/10! The beach was still under construction but there were many day trips we had booked that brought us to other beaches on the island. I would love to stay here again in the future!"

"I felt very welcomed when I first arrived at Le Mersenne Autograph Hotel. All of the staff are very nice and welcoming. Also the general manager Michael walks around and introduces himself to all the guess. I only have two little complaints about the room. The sliding door screen was off track and had a hole in the screen and the drapes were dirty at the bottom. But besides that my stay there was very nice. "

The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the unique architectural design—where you can gaze out at the ocean as if it’s a living, breathing TV screen—is incredibly relaxing. Service was excellent—everyone was warm, attentive, and eager to make our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the fresh juices—they were refreshing and full of flavor. Overall, we highly recommend the Bamboo Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful waters and top-notch service."

"This was an exceptional stay. The accomodations at The Level were beautiful and clean and beyond what I expected. Every detail was considered e.g. The toiletries were top notch and the room had everything you could need including beach blankets beach bags, umbrellas, steamer for your clothes.The list is endless. The pool areas ( there where several) were comfortable relaxing and clean and there were several activities, games and excursons. The Spa is amazing and the gym had everything one needs. The staff were friendly and the service impeccable from reception, restuarant service, housekeeping and the guys driving the shuttles within the resort. The grounds were beautiful and quiet with accress to a large expanse of the coastline. The only thing that needs improving is the food. For the cost and the level of excellence in other aspects of the resort, the food offerings need to be improved in terms of range of options and flavour. I also koted that there were some kids in the adults only section. They were well behaved and did not bother me but others may not appreciate it. Neither of these, would stop me from going back in a heartbeat. one of my best vacations ever. "

"From our first arrival we were greeted with cool towels and warm smiles. The staff is amazing!! Esther at the front desk was very accommodating on our last day- our flight wasn't until late at night so got a lovely extra late check out. The food each day was prepared fresh and most delicious! Our room was the honeymoon suite which including a private pool and the maintenance guy always made sure to clean our pool as well. Having beach access from our room was a great plus because we were in the ocean/beach a lot! This place has not seen the last of us!!!"
