"Staff friendly and room clean and spacious. "

"The general condition of the hotel was poor and it just seemed cold and dirty with a lack of pride taken in the hotels building and the guest rooms. The Hotel room was very warm, it seemed like the heating was constantly on as the radiators were always very hot and it never felt like they were getting cooler . You couldn't sleep at night it was like a sauna. We tried to move the temperature setting on the wall gauge in our room but the gauge started to constantly make a ticking noise every 2 minutes and this went on and on for a long period of time, so we had to change it back again for it to stop ticking. There were bits of carpet missing in our room, the floor area around the door had no carpet which was a safety hazard. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Staff were ok but could be a lot better. On a positive note the location right by the beach and sea is great and it's a lovely setting, although it doesn't really make up for the let down of the hotel as I probably wouldn't stay here again. We were left disappointed, as what we had seen on the hotel website with how the hotel, its guest rooms and the overall way the hotel is marketed was a little misleading. I never am one to leave a review and certainly not a negative one, although as we were so disappointed with are overall experience, I had to write one on this occasion. "

"Hotel handy for Emerald Park. Grand for families for an overnight. However breakfast wasn’t of a four star standard and the cleanliness of hotel/ swimming pool was not up to scratch/ what you would expect of four star hotel - pool changing area unclean ( at 8am in the morning, so only going to get worse) and the floors around reception were not cleaned / tidy early morning which is when you would expect it to be at its cleanest. "

"Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was a lovely stay. Staff are great ,food was really good and even though breakfast was self service it was lovely plenty to choose from, hot food cereals etc. Room we stayed in was a big room only thing is a bit dated but clean tidy. Our first time staying here and we will definitely stay here again."
