"I was accommodated in the interior part of the homestay where there’s a kitchen that I think it doesn’t used it anymore. I would always pass by a lot of big basins and empty Gallons scattered and an empty mineral water bottles which accordingly, the owner doesn’t want to disposed it. There’s a dog tied up in front of my door. I charge my phone outside of my room, coz the outlet doesn’t work. There’s a lot of mosquitoes inside my room. But the things that I really don’t like with the said...

"The hotel is off the main road and a 5-10 minute walk to the the main street with restaurants, shopping, beaches etc. Hotel room is simple, nice and clean. Hotel staff is accomodating, always have a smile, are welcoming and happy :) Booked for 1 night and ended up extending for the length of my time in Siargao. Overall loved the hotel!"
"Cockroach and spider in our room. It's not worth it for the money we paid. We couldn't sleep worrying that Spiders and cockroaches would crawl into us while we were sleeping, so we left as soon as it hit 5 am."

"First off...Mitch was an absolute top notch host! Very accommodating and a wealth of knowledge for us 1st time travelers to Siargao! The grounds were beautiful, well kept and relaxing finishes! There was a little construction going on next door but it didn't bother is much. The location is about 5 minutes tuk tuk ride to General Luna city center where you'll find LOTS of shops, restaurants, bars, wellness centers etc! Book your stay with Mitch at Casa Basa, enjoy Siargao by day and a relaxing swim in their new pool during the evening hours! You'll enjoy your accommodations without a doubt! =) "

"We cannot stop raving about our stay at Mango Tree. We have soo many friends & family asking about Mango Tree— & all that they’re saying is that it’s so beautiful & dreamy! Having experienced it for ourselves, we can say this has been the highlight of our Philippines trip, and Siargao is an absolute dream! Staying at the Mango Tree Villa, we experienced a butler-esque type of service. The communication via WhatsApp is so personal, very smooth, & they made us feel like they are reachable any time of the day. We ordered breakfast every morning, they had their staff deliver the food & set the table with fresh mangoes, watermelon slices, pineapples and with a choice of coffee or juice. They have healthy options as well as your classic Filipino “silog” breakfast. The view of nature around this place is one that we’ll always keep in our memory bank.
