Overpriced but clean

The room was lovely - clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Spacious, clean bathroom with fluffy towels and acceptable bath products. The landlady had written to us, requesting that we let her know if we would be arriving earlier than 4 pm. We phoned en route at around 2:30, but the gentleman who answered the phone didn't leave us with a good impression even before we arrived. He suggested that we might just pick up the key and leave again, and wasn't particularly friendly. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special, and unfortunately the landlady stood beside the table and wanted to chat to us the whole time we were eating. We weren't offered the free wifi promised on the website and the photos and description on the website are rather deceptive. We felt that in general, this was overpriced. A rather strange experience.

It was the cleanest hotel we stayed in the UK. Everything was tastefully displayed and the linen was crisp.

Different from what we expected

Arrived about 8.30 pm. Everything was in the dark so it took a couple of trips down a dark narrow lane before realising the house in complete darkness was Rolle's court. An old building but The room was excellent ,spacious clean and our needs very well provided for. We had Just an overnight stay and left early the next morning so didn’t see the garden and swimming pool. The elderly couple that greeted us was kindly.one of the best for coffee and tea facilities beds super comfy and spacious. Not the type of place we prefer, too much on the back of beyond but would be perfect nature lovers I would think

Great area for walking

Close to north downs way. Lovely big room. Very friendly service and happy to help out. We had no car as walking but were given a lift to pub nearby. Very quiet and peaceful stay with lovely breakfast next morning

Large 3 person room

Great place for being close to the city but not entirely engulfed in it. Only a few miles away from the Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle. (Perhaps 7 miles away).

Excellent bed and breakfast!

This is a charming bed and breakfast with a hostess who grows her own fruits and vegetables in her lovely garden, and makes delicious jams and jellies. There is an Indian restaurant nearby who will deliver for no cost, and there are several other restaurants a short drive away. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious!

Fantastic hosts and a real nice place to stay. A bit remote and quite, but that is why we choose the place. Good solid breakfast with nice entertainment by the local wildlife. Family room was spacious with nice facility for tea and coffee. Would recommend it to anyone!

40th birthday party for nephew.

Owners Ian and Jill were very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was really clean and bed most comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the hot cross bun was a nice extra touch as it was Easter.

Great room for rent in an older home

The room is in a large house with a lovely couple that owns the home. Jill made a great breakfast and was really great company, providing nice insights into activities in the area to pursue.

Hidden Gem

I chose this place as it was very near my place of work over the next two days overall i cant fault it except to say there was no WIFI in the room, which was a shame as i had planned to get lots of work done in my "down time" during the stay. that aside and there was little to fault about my time there. I am not sure about the 4 star rating, but ignore that and what you have is a spotless, delightful BnB with owners that clearly care and give great service. Breakfast is varied and good quality too, making Rolles Court well worth checking out if in the area
