"Think there needs some updates to the hotel...."

"This was a great find for a last minute trip. The unit was very clean, the beds were comfortable and had nice touches. The bathroom was a small in our unit, including the shower, but that was the only thing that was a negative. The property grounds were well kept and very inviting for families. We were not able to walk down to the beach from the property. We couldnt really see the path anymore once we got to a certain point. We ended up driving to the beach instead so it all worked out. Regardless it was worth the drive up north and will definitely stay at the property again. "

"The staff at check in was great! The hotel room was a little dated but clean. Our bed was comfortable. They had movie nights for kids/families. Their breakfast was typical for small hotels. The location is close to the beach for sure. They are Pet friendly which is a huge plus! I would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was super clean but the walls are thin. There wasn’t a lot of people when I visited so it was not a huge deal for me. Really close to the beach and walking distance to many shops."

"As always the Grey Gull did not disappoint in beautiful location, staff and all round amenities. As a 20 plus year returning customer who usually books a one bedroom, this time I opted for studio on the upper floor. The porch is not private if there is someone staying in room next door. Instead of a solid privacy divider, it is wide slats providing little privacy from other rooms balcony. My only complaint is that you do not know this prior to booking as most other rooms have private balconies or patios. I would still give Grey Gull a 10!"
