"Expedia info is outdated when I searched up motels. It showed they had a pool, it was filled with dirt, in every aspect of the motel things were deteriorating and they are understaffed. Motel has 2 redeeming things going for it the desk agent Casy was very helpful and the location was convenient"

"We loved our stay at Basecamp in Tahoe City. We loved the theme of exploring. Our room was very clean and the property has been well maintained. My only complaint was that the shower could use some maintenance. It was totally usable, but could use some maintenance. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. We would totally stay here again."

"The property is amazing! Having the restaurant close by is so nice. The sauna is a huge perk, just wish we were able to use the cold plunge. If any suggestions having curtains that cover the full window and for privacy during the day would be nice."

"After many phones calls and the help of the maintenance man we got in our room way late do to the stupid code to the door lock. The link was never accessible and had to wait a long time to get a phone call returned."

"Not sure why Expedia gave it such a low rating. This hotel was cute, very clean and updated. The staff was extremely friendly as well. We were worried given the low rating but pleasantly surprised to walk into the room!!!!!"
