"I was in a handicapped room and the shower looks like it needs to be deep cleaned. The lotion container was empty and the shampoo and conditioner was almost gone. But bed was clean and comfortable.
Afternoon/night staff woman was amazing!!! Very helpful and very very kind!"
"When we entered our room it smelled like stale cigarettes. We walked into the bathroom and found a used bar of soap with hair on it. The front desk clerk did come and clean that up at least. But all of the mirrors had streaks on them. The sink had trash under it. When I turned the sink on water splashed on the floor from the faucet. I went to wipe up the water and the towel was instantly covered in dirt. There were stains and rips in the carpet. And the AC unit was very loud. One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed at. We booked 2 nights, but chose to drive all the way back home after the first night because it was so bad.
Oh and the pool was drained & under renovation which I felt should have been disclosed since that was why we and the rest of our family drove up early. "
Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Greenville - Spartanburg - I-85
4/10 Poor
"My stay at Extended Stay was extremely disappointing. The overall condition of the property fell far below acceptable standards. The hotel was noisy at all hours, making it very difficult to rest or get a good night’s sleep.
Cleanliness was a major issue. There was a persistent unpleasant smell throughout the building, and the common areas were visibly dirty, with grime that looked like it had been there for a long time—clearly no proper deep cleaning is being done. Unfortunately, the guest rooms were no better. Housekeeping was practically nonexistent, and I would rate room cleaning zero stars.
Equally concerning was the staff’s attitude. There was little to no effort to greet guests or provide even basic customer service, which made the experience feel unwelcoming from start to finish.
Overall, I would not recommend this property. Significant improvements are needed in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service."
"I loved this place! Front desk was amazing! I checked in at night and wished I would have got her name so I could call her out by name! She was 100% involved with customer care! Very clean room! Much better than I expected tbh! When we left on Sunday a guy was in the parking lot cleaning all the covers to the heating/air. Scrubbing them by hand with a brush. I feel like they take pride in the cleanliness of their facilities. Definitely would stay again with no questions asked. Continental breakfast is continental breakfast. It was good for what they had. I see a lot of people leaving negative feed about the breakfast. If you’re expecting a full course breakfast that isn’t what continental means. Great stay! Thanks Days Inn"
