"Overall our room was clean and comfortable, but a little bit on the worn side (we understand that the new owners are working hard to refurbish everything, they just hadn't got to our wing yet). The Spa is delightful, and the staff throughout the property are great. The only real downside to our stay was our experience with the dining room. We were told we wouldn't need a reservation (by the morning shift dining room staff), yet when we got to the dining room for dinner they said we should have had one, and the dining room was practically empty! There was 1 table of maybe a dozen, and 1 table of 2. After we rejected the suggestion that we eat in the lounge they seated us. Dinner was okay and the service was good, and when we left, there was still the big table and a new table of 2. It wasn't the worst of experiences, but it put a little sour note on our stay.
We are planning to stay again, and would recommend the property."
