"The staff at reception was helpful and quick, the room and bathroom were clean. What disappointed me was breakfast. Only one bottle of water on the common table for the entire dining room (we must have been 15-20 people) which of course ended right away. A 4-star hotel usually has an option for still and sparkling water, water is bottled and there are plenty of bottles for all guests. We ordered the small Irish breakfast and it looked really small in the big plate. Waitresses went back and forth without paying attention to the missing water and not taking away dirty dishes which in a small table sitting 4 people must be taken away immediately. The offer of fresh fruits was limited and the bowl was left almost empty at 9.30. I believe such a nice hotel should really step up their breakfast. Forgot to mention that we had to wait almost 15 minutes for a high chair!"
"Excellent location forNewgrange- clean and the welcome pack was appreciated.
However, there was no cold water in the wash basin though the shower was fine.
The Wi-Fi password did not work though we tried several times.
Sadly, we arrived at 18.20 to discover the kitchen was closing that night at 18.40 which would have been a rush and allowed no time to relax after a long journey.
We were told of another restaurant a few miles away but that had closed when we got there.
We ended up in Duleek having the worst chip supper we have ever experienced.
Such a shame!"
"Great place to stay if you are in the area. Easy parking, fantastic staff and rooms. On-site restaurant is great. If you intend to eat breakfast, rebook it with your room, if possible."
"Been staying here on and off since the place opened and definitely seen a decline . It's a great location for family and friends when they visit you also like the restaurant but the rooms need some TLC"
"So loud, we could not sleep. No air conditioning therefore the windows had to be open which was fine because the weather was lovely, but the bar was loud and people exiting the bar were yelling all till 2am."
"Place was amazing but will say our room was hot. When we was there was record highs (80s) room did not cool down until 3-4 am. No ice was available (maybe a thing there not sure) overall was great"
"Had a group of 14 family staying and an evening meal in the restaurant. Staff were excellent and the food & service exceptional.
Played a round of golf as well."
