Overall, stay was excellent. Service and staff was first class. However, I think there certain things that could have improved. Breakfast was more suited to a Eastern European market. I was charged an additional 340AED on my last day for breakfast which wasn’t explained to me despite my paying for breakfast in my package.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and had our room ready on arrival before normal check in time. We had Club lounge access which was good, although there weren’t enough staff at times to see to guests needs. The buffet food was limited, especially for small children and the restaurants were really set up for adults too. The pool was nice, but there was never enough sun beds for guests and there was a lot of friction between staff and guests about getting a sun bed / especially as half were in shade from about 2pm. The paid club area / restaurant had loads of space as was empty most of the time and this was used at the expense of hotel guests. There is a nice children’s pool but it is remote from the main pool so families with different aged children are often split up. It should have been designed to be next to each other to create more options for families. As a result, it was hardly used and a completed wasted opportunity. Finally, lots of guests (including us) got a sickness bug halfway into the holiday so we effectively lost 2 days of our holiday.
