Great place to stay at the palm!

We had a really great stay here at Th8 Palm. Our room was one of the suites towards the garden. It was an easy access to and from the restaurant, pools and beach. This was especially great since we travelled with two younger kids. The staff in all areas treated us with great service and respect which is something we really appreciated. All in all super happy about our stay amd would definitely come back again.

This was a well presented, well run establishment with some great staff and an excellent breakfast option. The only real downside was that it was located at the end of the Palm, where transport options were not good, and it was very inconvenient to get to areas without a vehicle or constant use of taxis. There is a shuttle bus that an be used, free of charge, to run to the city centre, but with only seven seats available, and a requirement to book 24 hours in advance, although this service was free, we only managed to secure runs on a couple of occasions. The staff are what made this visit worth it. Nice place, nice offerings, but an excellent team, and well worth visiting, as long as you are aware of the location constraints and transport needs. We look forward to visiting again.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. There was a washing machine in the room, but even after running the dryer for about 10 hours, the clothes didn’t dry. Overall, the electrical system seemed a bit weak, and the breaker tripped twice during our stay. However, when I called the front desk, they responded immediately. The staff were all friendly and provided courteous service. Thank you very much!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Sexual harassment at the pool area seemed very common. Men were making women extremely uncomfortable, touching women inappropriately, approaching guests with disturbing comments, and creating an unsafe environment. When I reported what happened to the reception staff, the response was dismissive and irresponsible. I was told that these individuals were “day-use guests” and that “sometimes they do that.” This is completely unacceptable and showed no concern for guest safety or protection. The reception experience overall was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I was also charged significantly more than the price listed on Expedia. The advertised price was $91, yet the hotel refused to honor that rate. In addition, despite the hotel being nearly empty, I was placed alone on the sixth floor where there were no other guests. This made me feel even more uncomfortable and unsafe after what happened at the pool. I contacted the hotel directly regarding this urgent matter and never received any response. As an American traveler, I have never experienced a hotel with such lack of security, protection, professionalism, and respect toward guests. This situation was handled very poorly, and I believe compensation is absolutely warranted for the money I paid and for the horrible experience I endured. Dr Ezies
