It was the perfect place to stay for a relaxed few days away from the hassle and bustle of Dubai. An easy drive out from the city. The hotel is a little oasis in a not particularly nice area. If you are looking for nightlife or a choice of good restaurants then this isn’t the area for you. Having said that if you are happy to stay put the Vida beach offers everything. Very friendly staff, very well appointed, clean bedrooms and a first class restaurant. It is directly on its own beach with plenty of staff to help you providing towels, cold water and sun cream. There is also a very nice infinity pool and separate children’s pool. There is a tennis court and some water sports. Substantial buffet meals are served in the restaurant. Again with helpful staff. Chef Al Bahri bakes all the pastries, breads and cakes in house and they are delicious. You can order fresh eggs Benedict too. Very good choice on the buffet in the evening. Many guests were on an all inclusive tariff which with the lack of restaurants near by is definitely a good option. Naomi on Reception and Sahar maintenance were very helpful. I would highly recommend for a few days of R&R.

We stayed in a king-size bedroom, suite very spacious clean and tidy, nice sea view. We opted for half board, food was great plenty of choice. Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain is a really nice resort felt very relaxed and chilled. A very big thank you to jumma who looked out for us and kindly took us jummah on Friday. Thanks to Amr, Bahar, Saddam you we're very attentive and always on hand if we needed you. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

FANTASTIC HOTEL -THE BEST
The hotel smells amazing and is clean, bright and welcoming. I cant say 1 bad thing. I have food requirements and the chef cooked for me 3 times a day without any problems, actually with such compassion! The staff can not do enough whether in the spa, gym, restaurant or behind the counter at reception. AMAZING

Staff were very helpful. However, I don’t feel I received good value for money considering how much I paid for my stay: My room with a city view consisted of a construction site and empty land. Room cleanliness was questionable on seeing that used mugs were not washed properly and still had remnants from previous use - making me question what else hadn’t been cleaned properly. Used bathrobes were taken and not replaced. The mechanism on the balcony door was broken so I was unable to close the door on my first night (room became very cold overnight) and although “fixed” - I was then unable to open the door to access the balcony. I’ll be visiting the area quite often over the next few years - but will not use this hotel again.

We had a beautiful stay, and the service was top quality hospitality. It was refreshing to have a perfect stay. The property is new and nice. We loved that even the pool had niches for everyone to lounge in their own space. The hotel is reasonable and the food was amazing too! We will definitely be back with our cat next time!

It’s “not bad” - and not worth the hype.
Vida Beach Resort is a relatively addition to the Vida brand - if you’re looking for a change of scenery, you’ll get just that; but given the resort rate prices, you would hope for a lot more. The design & layout of the hotel, size & cleanliness Of rooms was fine (although the bathrooms are small and in our regular room, we couldn’t open the door fully). We found the service to be friendly, but wait staff were often confused when ordering as they are clearly still learning - on 5-6 occasions they couldn’t catch basic orders correctly and would do things such as serve us food before bringing plates! They were always happy to fix things, so it just seemed to be a case of slow training. We stayed with two other couples and all had heard the extensive radio advertising on “ALL” Vida hotels showing the Euros - including specific mention of “Vida Beach” - only to find out they had absolutely no offering for this. I give this a 3-4* as for everything that was nice, it’s just a bit too hyped up for the price. The beach is small, nothing like advertised, and anything more than a 2 day getaway might become boring. We don’t regret staring, but don’t think we’d go back. For the same prices you can pick dozens of places in Dubai and still feel far from home.

Nice for a weekend at ten seaside
The rooms are very nice, hotel is very cleaned, amazing beach! The service in food and beverage must improve, we waited a lot to get our breakfast and we had an issue with the restaurant for dinner (the manager did not even come to apologize)
