Leider können wir die guten Bewertungen nur teilweise nachvollziehen. Neben dem Hotel ist aktuell eine riesige Baustelle mit massiver Lärmbelästigung den ganzen Tag über. Eine Information diesbezüglich haben wir vorab nicht erhalten, die Zimmerpreise waren nicht vergünstigt oder ähnliches. Die Kommunikation war, sowohl vor, als auch während unseres Aufenthaltes generell desaströs. Wir hatten 48 Stunden vorab einen Transfer, sowie ein Late Check out angefragt. Bis heute haben wir auf diese Anfrage keine Antwort erhalten. Eine Abholung fand nicht statt und den Late Check out, sowie den Transfer bei der Heimreise mussten wir erneut erfragen. Beim Transfer hatten wir das Gefühl, dass der Fahrer nicht informiert war, da er keinerlei Infos hatte. Bezüglich des Baustellenlärms wollte man uns kontaktieren, auch dies ist nie erfolgt. Am Kinderpool kann geraucht werden, dies haben wir als sehr störend empfunden. Lediglich am Babypool gibt es eine rauchfreie Zone, aber keine Cabanas. Am Wochenenden ist das Hotel voll belegt da es einen Brunch, auch für externe Gäste gibt, welche den Pool und den Strand nutzen können. An diesen Tagen gibt es scheinbar nicht genügend Liegen bzw. begann das „Liegen reservieren und nicht da sein“ Spiel. Zumindest übertönte die enorme Lautstärke der Musik am Pool sowie der Gäste nahezu den Lärm der angrenzenden Baustelle. Das Personal an der Rezeption sowie im Service ist allerdings durchweg sehr freundlich. Besonders der Kids Club hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Beautiful hotel (there is construction next door, so try to get a room on the other side of it). Really lovely and very wonderful staff. The spa is also *amazing. I got a Thai massage and it was great. It was like a real therapeutic massage (my neck was in really bad shape) the pool is beautiful the food is good. My only issue is it’s pretty far away from everything. Getting back into the city takes a long time

An excellent stay as always! We first visited this Waldorf in 2014 over the Christmas holiday shortly after the hotel opened and have been back virtually every Christmas since.
