"The Morgan hotel is really excellent. Our experience was so good. It's right in the center of Temple Bar, which is great if you want to experience this aspect of Dublin. Of course, there's lots of activity around there, but we found the noise to not bother us in the room, and everything got quiet by midnight or so. It's walkable to everywhere, which is what we ended up doing and loved it. The bed was very comfortable. We only ate at the hotel for breakfast, which served the purpose of getting us fed without effort, though the buffet was not spectacular. The staff was super helpful and solicitous. All in all a wonderful experience."
"Absolutely wonderful stay! Friendly and helpful staff, right in the heart of Dublin by the river. Quiet, but right outside the Temple Bar, lots of things to do and see. Steps from the bus tours, all around AMAZING experience here!"
"The rooms very exceptionally clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic (great water pressure). It was an easy walk to anything in Dublin City centre. The staff were welcoming and friendly."
On Dame Street, south of the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin, stands the mighty architectural achievement that is Dublin Castle, parts of which date back to 1200. Over the centuries Dublin Castle has been a fortress and treasury, a royal palace and a prison. Prior to Irish independence in the 1920s, it was also the centre of British rule in Ireland. Today, Dublin Castle is a government building and significant historic emblem.
