"A pleasure to stay. The communication between property and I was excellent prior to arrival, checked in with Stephen and he was polite and added to he friendliness of Ireland. A walk away are restaurants coffee shops and pubs. It’s a very safe part of Dublin and our room was nice and very clean. I would stay there again. Good value for your euro."

The location is quieter, not around much, but transit station is walkable and easy to figure out
If you’re so inclined-Dublin City Centre is a good 25 minute walk, maybe 30.

The Gibson Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was nice and convenient and next to plenty restaurants and cinema. Transport is close by and easily accessible "
"Very clean, A/C stops sometimes but it was explained in a welcome sheet so it was all good, their soap and shampoos are all from Loccitane. All the stuff people are very nice, too. When I asked for hot water for tea, they sent someone over right away with an electric kettle and some black tea bags and sugar and all 👍 The room we stayed was pretty small for two people but the bed was very big so it was comfortable once we figured out how not to be in a way of each other. One thing it bothered us was there was no fan in the bathroom and we couldn't keep the door open either. So the steam stayed for a long time and it was uncomfortable to use after a shower. And the smoke alarm went off from the steam when I opened the door right after the shower. Oh, and I could hear EVERYTHING my husband was doing in the bathroom! This room is good for a couple in a committed relationship but not for a romantic getaway for just started dating kind of couple, just FYI ;) Anyway, we really enjoyed our stay there :)"
"Very helpful staff, held our bags in the lobby on arrival and departure. The room was clean and well kept. Located in a transport hotspot with a lovely bar and the river just down the street. The lobby is currently undergoing a refurbishment and a demolition site to the side of the hotel but we were not impacted by the noise etc of this. The room even had a fan which was especially needed in this hot weather. Thanks again! "

"Excellent location if you're using the train to city center or bus to airport. Area is safe, hotel clean, staff great! Only downside ... bed can be more comfortable, our room phone is not working and no refrigerator, otherwise it would be perfect."

Once you’ve attended a concert at Dublin’s superb O2, there’s no going back to theatre-style venues where the seating is arranged in regular rows. The audience and artist friendly design of the O2 amphitheatre is often likened to that of Rome’s Coliseum, with blocks of seats emanating out like a great fan from the impressive stage.
