"Stayed at WorldMark Galena from February 6-8, 2026, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful wooded view right from our suite. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. A special shout-out to Mike at the front desk, whose friendliness and local knowledge were exceptional. He was always ready to help and offered fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better. For a relaxing, hassle-free stay with excellent service, this resort is hard to beat. "The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous stay. The fireplace in the room was my favorite feature. Bed and bedding were like sleeping on a cloud. Book a suite with river view if possible. The view is quite wonderful! I saw the inn keeper every day. He’s very friendly, talks to everyone, and truly wants you to have a wonderful stay. I highly recommend dinner at least once at the restaurant there. The food is exquisite! Keep in mind that lunch and snacks aren’t offered. Bring things from home, there’s a fridge and microwave in every room."
