"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about. "Loved my stay here, its cool lil spot tucked away in the jungle. Really cozy rooms and nice on-site restaurant where you can grab breakfast in the mornings and dinner after long day of exploring. Wonderful staff!"

"The commodities was good the location very quiet , the 7 miles gravel road was hard on us however we forgot that with the excellent services from all the stafs especially the host master and all the table servers. Also the food was excellent the menu variety and the attention to our allergic and dietary restriction was absolutely fantastic "

"The view from my room was breathtaking. The receptionist on my first day of check in was very helpful. Just for the view, I would definitely come back and stay here. Definitely recommend others to stay here if they are staying in San Ignacio. My criticism would be the shower was a bit hard to use because the water was weak and that the pool was quite dirty. The water was murky. The person on the day I checked out could have been a bit more courteous. After checking out, he just told me "you're all set". Something like "Thank you for staying with us. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us." would go a long way. "

The Cabins at Monkey Fall

10/10 Excellent

"Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife."
