" This was my husband and my first time visiting Shelter Island and I feel lucky that my stay was at the House of ChaseCreek. Bill was excellent in helping us navigate our stay on the Island which made for an enjoyable experience. The house was charming , very clean , and had easy access to the town restaurant s, and Ferry. "We were able to access many beaches with the beach pass that came with the stay. That was the main reason we wanted to stay there. The rooms were very nice, spacious and comfortable.

"Needed a last minute place to stay and this was PERFECT!! Reasonably priced and the owner is lovely. The rooms have everything you need and there’s a bar on the property where you can play pool and have an after-dinner drink. Highly recommend!"

"Newly Renovated and extremely clean, well kept, and inviting rooms. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. Location is ideally situated close to lots of shops, Goldbergs for bagels, East Hampton Beaches etc. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area."

"Great stay at the Bentley Hotel. Don’t judge it from the exterior appearance. The indoor hallways are nice when the weather is stormy and the inside is very spacious, cozy, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Love the modern vibe. The only thing I didn’t care for was the shower head, it doesn’t have a soft rain like spray, just a very strong pulsing and too high up for shorter people. Over all a great stay, and highly recommend it."
"Excellent in every way – truly beyond words. Head of Pond House is simply outstanding, and will always stay here whenever we visit the Hamptons.
Special thanks to Monika for being such a wonderful host – attentive, warm, and truly exceptional."
"The people in the office welcomed us kindly. The first impression for us when we entered the room was that the room was clean and neat, and nicely warmed up. We were glad we stayed there during our trip. The price was very good compared to other places."
"We were looking for a quick overnight in the East End, and the Harpoon House exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious (a suite!) and well-appointed, blending the charm of the original 1648 (!) building with modern amenities and furnishings. We didn't take advantage of the on-property restaurant (formerly Blu Mar), but the menu - by acclaimed chef Rocco DiSpirito - looked excellent, if a bit pricey. Location was ideal, within easy walking distance of all Main Street shops and restaurants, and less than a mile to the beach. And, although things were a bit quieter than in the height of summer - not a bad thing! - we loved being out there for the fall harvest season, with wineries and farms in full swing. All-in-all, our stay at the Harpoon House made for a perfect fall weekend in the Hamptons - highly recommended. "
"The Capri hotel is an awesome place to stay, it is fun, clean and is completely updated and so comfortable!
The staff is super nice and helpful, and I would highly recommend it!! "
