The hotel could do with being refurbished but it is a 3 star hotel and for the price is acceptable, rooms could do with being cleaned a bit better but cant fault the staff and we actually enjoyed our stay will definitely return for another stay

Pleasant stay

We slept like rocks. The hotel staff were very accomodating and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Very nice breakfasts. Well communicated by train, bus and bicycle via the path running all the way to Glasgow and Bullock. Thank you ☺️

Very friendly staff (if a little run off their feet at breakfast), very helpful regarding public transport times & best station to park at! Comfy bed, The menu being vegetarian only, not a problem for me (I do eat meat, but the pizza was lovely), but should be advertised as vegetarian only breakfast! Room needs a little updating, Not really an issue at the price though. Overall a nice place to stay, close to main road, but quiet enough at night. Would recommend

If everywhere else is fully booked then it’s fine. Other than that, the bedsheets were threadbare and had stains on them but as we had just arrived from a long haul flight we were too tired to care. The bathroom was run down with mould and a broken bit on the bath/shower. Massive spider in the bath. Breakfast was okay .

The venue was advertised with a bar and in house dining. The bar serves non-alcohol drinks only. All the food is plant based vegetarian/vegan options. There items should be mentioned in the their advertising. After s long drive I was looking to relax in the bar and have a couple of beers and snacks!! To flush the toilet in our room we were shown a trick to perform which of course didn’t always happen. Very disappointrd in my stay.
