I am planning to return for more lovely walking and to explore the area again there is plenty to do in the area.
Must visit Dumfries museum and the Camera Obscura and the Burns Trail. Lots of lovely places to eat
Was visiting to attend a reunion of colleagues.
The town is fine, if in a little need of care and attention. I didn't fine many places to eat but it is a great centre for touring.
