The Hydro Hotel

The Hydro Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel was in a great location to either explore Lisdoonvarna or travel to the Cliffs of Moher and other close seaside towns. The hotel has great charm, but is in great need of an upgrade, which has already begun. It is very outdated, but they are doing their best to continue to operate while making improvements. The only major negative is that the breakfast can be quite difficult to navigate if a tour is there, as we got up early on checkout day only to deal with an entire tour bus of tourists at the buffet, which made it hard for them to keep up, but overall a nice place to stay in a convenient location."

Wild Honey Inn

Wild Honey Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The wild honey hotel was our best stay in Ireland. It was unique with a truly wonderful handmade Michelin star breakfast. There are several restaurants within walking distance with gourmet foods. There is even a local pub >150 year old pub with a friendly and fun traditional Irish music session on Thursday nights. This was an easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher. My only regret is we did not spend more days here."

Atlantic Hotel

Atlantic Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, spacious room with 2 large windows overlooking Main Street, with generous transom windows above that. Staff very kind and helpful. Great food for dinner, and for the free madero order breakfast as well. I only wish the self serve portion could be opened before 8am, or available by request to your room, for those of us checking out early. Great location, huge parking area behind the hotel. Loved it!"
