"The arrival was very smooth, we got to the hotel at around 10am which we were worried we would need to keep our bags until 3pm but they tagged them and placed them in a secure room for us to collect later that day.
We were offered a drink whilst there if we opted for the bedroom to not be cleaned whilst on our 2 night stay too which I thought was a good idea.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room and whole hotel was clean.
The galleys on each floor were a good idea but unfortunately for us we were on the north side of the building on floor 3 which meant there was a walk to the lift to floor 2 or 4 then a very long walk to the far south of the hotel to get a coffee or iron clothes, would be nice to have a closer one for the north side residents too.
Breakfast buffet was nice too, would be nice if it was to start at the same time as mon-Friday still but there was a nice touch for people leaving the hotel before it opened, they had croissants and coffee available at the bar.
We would stay again if we were to ever travel there again and may try their other hotels if they’re all like this one.
Thank you for a lovely stay "
"A delight of a hotel. Lovely staff, who are friendly and attentive, which creates a great atmosphere. Beautifully renovated hotel with quirky features that make you smile. Lovely room - snug but with everything you need. David, the manager, does an exceptional job of welcoming guests and is very visible. Taking dinner at the hotel is a must - the dishes created by Cian, the head chef, are outstanding. The haddock fish and chips were the best I’ve ever tasted (and I’m English!) and I would also highly recommend the Beef and Guinness Pithivier (French pie) with it’s light but delicious pastry, melt in the mouth beef and rich and deep bone broth. Even the simple side dish of carrots was delicious. Saiful, our server, was attentive, despite how busy the restaurant was (and probably always is), very cheerful and helpfully recommended dishes to us. We will definitely return to this hotel - the location is also excellent - but it’s all about the feel of the hotel that David, Cian and all the staff enhance with their attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the hotel and for giving customers the best experience they can in all aspects of their stay. I cannot recommend the hotel more highly."
"Great service, lovely staff - we had an early flight and were able to check in well before 4pm, which was highly appreciated.
Great location, everything was very walkable.
Temperature in the common areas could have been a little warmer."
