"Great hotel, the only issue is that its not very elderly friendly. Hallways are incline, decline and long to get to certain rooms. Not great for my parents with canes and walker."
"I stayed at this motel on my way to PEI and on my way back from PEI. Both rooms were very clean and so spacious. Parking right in front of my room made it so easy to settle into my room. I couldn't get over how big the second room was. A king bed and a sofa and a litte kitchenette plus a fireplace. There is a huge Greenspan for guests with a BBQ and picnic tables. Perfect for families. The owners are SO accommodating and friendly. I have osteoarthritis in my hands and had trouble opening my door. The owner was there in a jiffy to help me and even offered me to change rooms which was completely unnecessary. It was a beautiful summer evening and I was sitting outside my room knitting in one of the muskoka chairs that are outside all rooms. One of the owners came over to sit and chat with me! When has that ever happened to you staying at at a big chain. It made me feel like staying with a friend or family inst3ad of being a guest in a cold unfriendly hotel. And one of the best parts is that my room cost MUCH less than other places in Cornwall. Highly recommend."
"The rooms are on the 2nd floor and the first floor, but on a different side of the building is the bar which includes a stage for drunken karaoke . I don't know how, but I didn't hear any of the music and singing from downstairs. When I went to the bar there was only a handful of people but they had a lot of energy when it came to singing. I just wanted to put it out there because when I saw them singing I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the noise, but, like I said, I didn't hear them at all up in the room.
The person manning the bar was very helpful in getting me set up. I had a billion questions but she answered them all. I also got a captain and coke at the bar which was good. I mean, it is just a captain and coke so not a super high ceiling or floor, but it was good. Not sure what the food is like there since when I got there the kitchen was already closed.
The room I was in didn't have a bathroom but there were a couple bathrooms on that floor and I was honestly surprised with the size of the shower. Pretty nice."
"Very clean hotel and rooms.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Check in was super easy and quick.
Ample parking.
Breakfast very good.
Would stay again if in the area"
"Stayed here while in Montreal for work and had a great experience. The motel was quit and relaxing. I especially loved the beautiful location by the lake.
Over all was a pleasant experience.
Only downside was the cleanliness."
