"Can tell the rooms are Older couple leaks. Good location, surrounded by different food options. Staff was nice. Suggestion get rid of all the sheets and comforters. I know they’ve been cleaned, I can smell that. However, the stains are unsettling and a little distracting. So much so that my second trip I brought my own sheets. I also found hair and a lot of odd places so my second visit. Also I bought Lysol wipes and cleaning supplies overall still a nice hotel cleaning could be better and not to place blame on the housekeeping staff there’s no blame placed anywhere. Let’s just pay attention to the stains and get rid of those that have them. I’m not sure whether it’s the detergent. What else could the stains come from? That’s what makes it unsettling and quite disturbing. I still love the hotel, though I haven’t been back since."
"We had a fantastic time on our trip. The only issue I had was the fact that the mini fridges come virtually unusable because they’re stocked completely full and I feel like you get charged for just looking at the items. They do offer an alternative if you need a real fridge for yourselves, but we were only staying one night so it was more of a hassle than it was worth to switch it out. Outside of that it was clean, the shower stalls are weird, and the staff is super friendly. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at La Quinta Hotel and overall had a positive experience. I checked in late & as I inspected the room, I noticed there was a leak coming from the sink. I reported the issue to the front desk & he was very understanding, informing me that since it was late, maintenance would come by the following morning to repair it. Although I did have to follow up with the front desk the next day, I was satisfied that within about 10 minutes, maintenance arrived & fixed the leak without me having to change rooms. I especially want to recognize the front desk night auditor for taking my concern seriously, not disregarding my complaint & handling the situation professionally & respectfully."
"There were numerous communication issues between me and the staff and managers at one point our room got up to 77° and stayed like that for hours because there was no one on staffed correct the issue although we got the historic room fee waved. I don’t believe that the staff truly cared about our experience in the hotel as a whole considering that it was where we were staying to get married. I wrote an email to management at 8:30 AM and it has now been 12 hours and I have yet to get a phone call back nor an email back from anybody at this hotel. I’m extremely disappointed to say the least."
