Tingum Village is my home away from home! So calming listening to the birds and roosters, relaxing in my beautiful room, and befriending the owner, Juanita, and her dedicated staff, Crystal, Lucy, and Mikey while enjoying meals and drinks in the friendly restaurant and bar areas. This is the only truly Bahamian hotel experience on Harbour Island and has been owned by the same family for decades! I’m not interested in corporate operated resorts, but prefer the warm welcome I receive every time I walk in the door during my stay! Lots of laughs and good conversation with everyone at Tingum! Miss you until next year!!

The photos on the website do not reflect the current condition of the property. It is quite outdated and needs attention. The room’s kitchen is mediocre at best. The hotel lounge is dark and uninviting with only four stools. The room decks or patios offer no view, inhibited by a five-foot lattice fence. Appreciated the simple breakfast each morning. Don’t be lured in by the use of “charming” to describe the inn. This is a bare bones experience in a tired space.

This is a gem , clean room , friendly staff. Juanita have all your needs ,she has contact for everything in Harbour island and Eleuthera. We stayed off season and she made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Nice on site restaurant as well! Can’t go wrong!

Great little getaway!

What a great little family establishment! The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and when we had a slight inconvenience they comped our dinner! It’s very quite and peaceful, and only a short walk to the main part of town or the beach. I will definitely be staying here when we return!

Baby Ruby out did herself. From the moment we stepped of the ferry we were greeted with kindness and efficiency. We received a celebratory anniversary welcome with flowers and champagne.During our stay everyone was extremely attentive. The bar and restaurant was not only convenient, but had wonderful food.
