"Liked the leisure centre with pool, hot tub and steam room / sauna. Nice rooms.
Views of the loch were amazing and breakfast was outstanding:) we even played golf at the Wee Demon the clubs were a bit heavy for a woman especially the driver and 3 wood. But the irons worked well so we mostly used those:) the layout if the hotel rooms was a bit hard but better once I learned how to navigate to my room."
"It was an interesting place to stay. It’s a listed property that is being renovated as allowed. We had a good sized bedroom but with noisy floors in the bathroom as well not too keen on electric showers but eventually got water at the right temp.
Breakfast started off being a challenge as there was nothing we wanted but we had a conversation and someone went shopping so all was well for the three days we were there.
The hotel must have been a really grand building as a lot of the original features exist still . The dining room has recently been decorated and is a very pleasant place to be. We only ate there once and the food was enjoyable.
Parking available on site and across the road the ferry to Gurock so very convenient. Close to Benmore botanic garden which is great and about 50 mins from the castle of the Dukes of Argyll well with visits"
"Amazingly friendly and helpful staff in all areas of Duck Bay, room was spotless and food was very good in the restaurant. This is our 2nd time staying and will definitely e back again."
"The room was clean and the amenities were fine. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! That was the best part. The only small issue was how dark and small the bathroom was."
"Lovely two night stay at the Loch Fyne Hotel.
Staff were welcoming and cheery.
Spa treatments were incredible and I have never felt so relaxed!
Food was lovely, perhaps slightly expensive but just my own opinion.
Didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities like the pool etc but wish I had as it looked like a beautiful space.
Room was cosy and ideal for what I needed. I found the bed a little too soft but that’s personal preference. The chairs were a little tatty and could do with being updated. The TV was not smart, so couldn’t cast things to watch on the apps, but again, a minor thing.
All in all I would rate highly, and enjoyed my time away from the hustle and bustle of home life."
