"The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with an assortment of coffees and teas. The breakfast was good and my wife really enjoyed the home-made yogurt. I enjoyed an omelette on a toasted bagel and a fresh baked croissant. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Markdale or visiting the Down Home Farm restaurant for a farm-to-table experience. "
"We stayed in a 2 queen room in the 'newer' building (attached to the office). The room was lovely, clean and new. It had a decent size mini fridge and microwave, and each unit has a outdoor sitting area for 2 wicker chairs, a table with an ashtray (smoking outdoors only). I could hear people in other rooms, so the walls are a little thin, but I was very surprised at how clean, fresh and new the room was. However - our friends stayed in a single queen room in the old section. I didn't see the room, but they said it was awful. Be sure to request a room in the new section! There is an attached restaurant - we didn't try it, but was open early for breakfast. For a small town - this hotel was GREAT!"
"Overall 3 out of 5 . It's the little things like Cobb webs and spider webs around the doors and windows, the coffee maker would work, toilet wouldn't flush properly. Supplied coffee pods for the coffee maker but no creamer, sugar or stir sticks / spoons. Bed was hard enough to play tennis on. It's going down hill since our last stay 4 months ago. The other rooms had table and chairs and this one had a chair and small low coffee table . Just not as good as the last time

"I was so impressed by this hotel — it has quickly become one of my favorites. The entire property felt clean, fresh, and modern, which made for a really comfortable stay.
The suite included a full kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a separate bedroom, which made it feel more like a home than a hotel room. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, adding to the sense of comfort.
Overall, @HOME by Best Western Walkerton is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and home-like stay. I’ll definitely be returning on future visits."
