"I stayed 2 days at the Hotel Lonca in Skofja Loka on business earlier this week. I arrived late on the Sunday night and Robert the Night Manager checked me in. He was polite, professional and efficient but above all so helpful on any questions I had, including the all important internet access. On the 2nd night he offered choices for dinner and then arranged for a lovely meal in the countryside, where they could pick up and get me back later. I had a lovely meal and some great wine. Overall a 10:10 on everything, but Robert was special."

"A beautiful country setting and a surprisingly modern hotel contained in a traditional facade. This is a small operation so don't be surprised to find the man who checked you in and carried your bag also taking your dinner order. That isn't a criticism, just a reality in a boutique hotel with 20 something rooms. Dinner menu varies by the day and is accompanied by a decent wine list. Breakfast is included and can be the comprehensive buffet or a la carte with several custom made offerings. I would stay there again but a small warning that applies to many European hotels. No elevator. The staff will deliver your bag but you do need to climb stairs. Nice people and a welcoming ambiance. As a traveler of some 40 plus countries, I have this on my repeat list."

"Fantastic location. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely lake view (I'm not sure, but we may have been upgraded upon check-in). Very happy with the experience."

"The hotel was in a great location with plentiful parking and only a few minutes walk to the centre of Bled. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Rooms were well laid out with a great view from the balcony and we enjoyed the buckwheat pillow which provided a great sleep. Breakfast gave a good selection of meat and vegetarian options. The wellness pools being included in the stay just added to what was already a great stay and amenities. Definitely recommended if your are looking to stay in or around Bled area."

"Absolutely โ for Hotels.com Iโd make it warm and personal, but fairly concise. Hereโs a polished version for Rose Bled: We had a wonderful stay at Rose Bled. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and everything we tried was delicious. We also really appreciated the thoughtful service when we had an early train to catch and would miss breakfast. The hotel kindly prepared a lunch box for us to take with us, which was such a lovely touch. Our room had a fantastic balcony with a beautiful view over Lake Bled, including Bled Castle and the church. A lovely hotel with genuinely friendly staff, great food and a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our time at Rose Bled and would happily stay here again. I think this strikes the right balance for Hotels.com โ positive and genuine without sounding like an advert."
