"Good breakfast spread, with exception of no eggs available. No problems with room set up, excellent staff no problem too small to sort. Easy to find hotel. This was my first stay and would hope to stay next time I travel to Bath. "

"The room was not clean when we entered. There were dead bugs in the tub and some unknown substance near the sink. The white towels had brown / red stains. We asked for a change of the towels and those also had brown / red stains. Hotel is pretty old - paint is flaking off everywhere. No slippers in the room (had to ask for it). No tooth brush / tooth paste. Calls to conceirge were not answered. In terms of staff, I expected them to move my bags into my room given I'd dropped off my bags with them prior to my check in and then went outside for lunch / to explore the city. Spa wise - pretty well equipped with 2 saunas, 1 steam room, 1 salt room and 1 ice room. "

"It’s a very old property but you can’t find anything good near that area with hot food facility. Only worry is that the properly is very old and make noise when you walking all over near the rooms. "

"The property is extremely old and needs a proper renovation in my opinion - carpet is dirty with some stains, the bathroom tub has visible mold, and there was a constant water dripping noise from the toilet all night. Windows are damaged with broken glass and could not be securely locked, which we felt unsafe. Heating didn’t work properly, making it freezing in the morning. The beds are very soft, but compared to other things this is not a big issue. There was no front desk or staff available, so we couldn’t report issues or request a room change. We arrived late in the evening with kids, there was no way that we could find an alternative that day, hence decided to stay anyway. Not recommended! "
