Our Labour Day stay at Sir Sam's was excellent. It was very quiet and peaceful. The room was nice and the food was excellent. We are going to make coming to Sir Sam's a Labour Day tradition.

Nice little spot to relax and unwind . This is our second time and we loved it . Outdoor pool , indoor pool and spa and the lake , all there … so lovely. Quaint room, good food , we were very happy . Would highly recommend for a couples getaway ! Staff were all excellent and helpful ! Donna B

Posh resort on a pretty northern lake. The older lodge portion is starting to show its age and we had mixed results with the fine dining. No kids allowed made it quiet and relaxing though. Great pool and spa. Overall it was an enjoyable 2 day stay. Would go back.

We decided to go up last minute. A very peaceful lodge with amazing staff. My husband forgot something, they went above and beyond. Found it and going to mail to us. The food was good, great grounds, lovely lakeview and boat ride. We will return.

From unit 42 brush could be removed for a better lake view Room needs a full refurbishment . The only saving grace was the spa , Lake View from main lodge with sun set was awesome. what I will a say the low cost rooms are certainly not worth the cost as they seem to be neglected so my recommendation would be to be to pay a lot more per night per room I guess the more you pay the better the room. But by no means are the lower cost rooms worth the nightly rate they charge.

Stayed for 5 nights in a Glen Eagle room. Quiet, older cottage style room. Outside needs some TLC. They had just started to get ready for the summer season. Had to ask for clean towels after a couple of days, rooms were not cleaned daily. Pool/spa was lovely. Food was good. I only ate in the dining room a couple of times. A nice relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were incredibly kind and even allowed us a late checkout, which made the experience even better. The place has a charming rustic atmosphere and a relaxing ambience. It’s a perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway with someone you love. Highly recommended.

The Sir Sam’s inn is a charming lakefront property on Eagle Lake. While the rooms and inn itself were a little dated, this didn’t bother us much at all. We opted to stay in the inn itself rather than the suites and it was nice to be located inside the main building. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, however the ceiling and swivelling fan made the rooms comfortable enough to sleep. You do get a nice breeze from the lake at night! The amenities (paddle boards, kayak and boat tour) were all free and added to the overall experience of the inn. The restaurant option has daily specials to choose from, however it is a bit on the pricey side. I would have liked a few more basic options but I understand what they are trying to achieve with the dining experience. The staff were all great, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We will return for a trip again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Sir Sam's Inn and Waterspa! We had a beautiful view of the lake, and saw lots of deer walking along the shore during our stay. We had plenty of firewood for our fireplace in our room, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cute, complete with a smart TV and robes. The live music, Gord Kidd, was exceptional. We definitely hope to return here soon :)

Room was cute. On the water. Wood fireplace. Spa was warm, not hot, but that was nice as it allowed you to stay in longer in the water. The sauna was perfect. Great place. I would stay again.
