"We recently reserved five rooms during our stay for an expo, and we were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our two-night visit. The hotel's location was also ideal, just a short walk from the Convention Centre. We will certainly choose this hotel again for our next trip!"

"At approximately 11:00 PM, we decided to spend some time at the hotel’s lobby bar. There were several empty tables available, including four tables for three to four guests. The lobby bar manager, who introduced himself as Senior Manager Dylan, refused to seat us because we were only two people. He stated that those tables were intended for larger groups and placed us on a waiting list. What made the situation particularly upsetting was that shortly afterward, he seated two other couples—also groups of two—at the same tables that had supposedly been reserved for larger parties. During all my travels, I have never experienced such treatment, and I found it offensive and humiliating. The following morning, we waited about 20 minutes for the General Manager to discuss the incident, but nobody came. Later that evening, the Hotel Manager emailed me, saying he wanted to speak with me. I immediately provided my phone number, but I was never contacted. I am not even mentioning the extremely long queues at reception or the fact that the extra bed for our son was delivered only several hours after our request. The lack of follow-up and poor service made this stay very disappointing. I expected a much higher level of professionalism, customer service, and respect from a hotel of this standard."

"Great location in downtown Toronto to waterfront, China town and many good eateries. Took the Union Pearson Express from airport and easily walked from Union station to hotel dragging my carry on baggage behind me. It is a busy hotel so i like the option of checking yourself in/out on the onsite computers. Onsite deli in hotel is over the top expensive and food which you take away is mediocre at best so recommend going elsewhere if you need to get food on the go. Fourth floor rooms you can not access the balcony so if that is important pick another floor. And i found the AC quite noisy inside the room. The adult wellness area is is an open area including fitness equipment, swim pool with big windows and outside sitting area. But it gets hot in there mid day so cant imagine using the fitness equipment."

"My partner and I arrived earlier than anticipated, and while we were not able to check in early, the staff at Gladstone happily took our bags and stored them so we could enjoy ourselves without being encumbered by our baggage. They have a lovely little bar, including an outdoor patio which was absolutely gorgeous, and the prices were exceptionally reasonable. All of the staff, from the front counter, to the servers, to the elevator operator, were very polite, professional, and personable and certainly made our stay more enjoyable. Once we checked in, we were taken to our room and it was lovely. Clean, bright, and had (almost) everything we needed. The only thing missing was a small fridge in the room but that was my oversight when booking and I certainly wouldn't criticize Gladstone for it. A remote blind was very handy when we got back from our event and were too exhausted to get out of bed to close it manually. I loved how each floor has a unique setting in the common area, our floor had a functional pool table. So fun! A lovely, boutique hotel, within reasonable walking distance to RBC Amphitheatre, the waterfront, and so many other venues. We will be back and I cannot recommend Gladstone enough!"
