"Was a beautiful walks away from Bristol City Centre, but transportation is very easily accessible to get to most places. Very quiet, beautiful and was perfect for my holiday! "

"The apartment is very nice (if a little run-down and stained) and well-located for the university. There is a lot of space, and the beds are very comfortable, although it is quite hot and there was only one fan. However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. It completely ruined our stay, and our trip to Bristol, which we had to cut short, and created a massive headache for us logistically, as well as a lot of anxiety. The managers didn't...

"Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property.
Would definitely stay here again. "

"This was our third stay, all stays in the suites, 6th 8th and 10 floor. Amazing stays, rooms were clean, spacious very friendly staff. A number of activities onsite aswell as restaurants. Will be our preferred place for long weekend breaks. "
"The customer service was outstanding. The best I've received in years. It started with a warm and friendly welcome when I checked in after a long journey. The gentleman on reception greeted me with a genuone smile, the process was speedy and I liked that he advised me my room number was written in the keycard, rather than saying it out loud as is usually the case. As a woman travelling alone, I appreciated this. The room was clean, spacious and the bed and pullows were comfortable. The shower had good pressure, though I wasn't impressed with the bath. The plug hole in the middle of the bath was awkward and when you stand on it the bath filled up, which was also right under the showerhead. The bath was also quite high to get into for someone who isn't that tall. Breakfast was hot and fresh, and It was nice that someone visoted the table to make sure everything was ok, and ask if there was anything else they could offer. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and fresh.Every member of staff I met greeted me with a smile, and asked if I'd had a good day. That small detail means a lot when you travel lots for work.
In summary, quite simply excellent. The customer service is outstanding!"
"Our stay at the hotel was so enjoyable, we stayed two nights and it had all the amenities we needed for our stay and there are a few things really added to our experience that I want to praise:
- Holding bags before checking in was extremely easy, you get given tickets correlating to your bags and made it very easy to keep them on hold whilst we explored pre- checkin
- We chose to not have our room cleaned the first night of our stay, it was easy to hang the usual sign on our door but what was really lovely was that we came back to an extra loo roll and two more bottles of water in a bag on our door left by house-keeping. It's extra touches like these that really add to a stay!
- Finally, my partner and I typically struggle with sleeping in hotel beds, we're both very much people that don't typically enjoy being away from our own however the beds we had in our room were second to none and both of us had a great night's sleep. The pillows in particular were amazing and really added to the comfort of the bed.
Overall the stay was brilliant, and we'll definitely recommend Clayton to any friends that stay in Bristol, and will now look out for their hotels elsewhere from how positive this experience was!"
"Thoroughly recomend. We were a group of friends heading to the rugby in Cardiff so the contrast of the serenity of the Manor house hotel to Cardiff City Centre was just absolutely heaven. Fantastic breakfast, lovely room, amazing kingsize bed.
Just generally an amazing stay beit all to brief"
