"A Fantastic Stay That Felt Like Home
This was one of the best and most enjoyable stays of my 11-day road trip through five new states: Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware, and Connecticut, bringing my total to 45 states visited. It was a wonderful place to end the trip.
What made this stay especially memorable was how personal and welcoming it felt. The hosts are genuinely wonderful people: warm, kind, welcoming, and very interesting to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversations.
The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, less than a minute’s walk from a lovely lake, with a beautiful pond nearby. The area feels calm, quiet, and very safe, and parking is extremely easy.
My second-floor room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Each room and the main entrance have electronic keypad codes, making everything convenient and secure.
The common area is wonderful, with a beautiful view. I enjoyed relaxing there, watching Netflix, and getting some work done. It truly felt like having a living room away from home. Water, coffee, breakfast items, and other conveniences are thoughtfully provided.
Everything is well cared for, but the hospitality is what makes this place special. I would absolutely stay here again. Five stars without hesitation."
