"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

Great location (10minutes walking distance to the city center). Staff was also very nice and accommodating. Only reason why I did not give a 5 stars overall is because the free breakfast was below average. But would 100% come back !"

"The outdoor pool was large and heated, this was a highlight of our stay, hot tub was great as well. Breakfast was very limited to our surprise, we expected more options. No scrambled eggs or fried potatoes. Got charged around $40 (facility fees), something to be aware of. Location is great, very easy to get to main sightseeing, shops and restaurants."
