"The bar is great, and the lobby is fantastic. But the guest rooms are really looking run-down. The knob to adjust the blinds in the window was missing, the showerhead was so worn it only pointed straight down, the toilet seat was not secured, the make up mirror didn't light up, and the bed mattress seemed quite old and collapsed."

"We recently stayed at the Maldron Hotel Parnell Square for nine nights. While the location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Dublin, I was disappointed by several aspects of our stay. Room servicing was inconsistent — one day I had to request toilet rolls, and on another, the servicing was delayed until quite late and never very through. I also had an evening meal in the restaurant one night and ordered the burger, which was advertised as a handmade double meat pattie. Unfortunately, it turned out to be two freezer-style patties covered in cheese and was quite unappetising. When the manager noticed I hadn’t eaten it, he kindly offered a complimentary dessert, but no refund or discount was provided despite my request. Overall, while the location and general facilities were good, the service and dining experience did not meet expectations."
