"Stayed in a triple, this hotel is spread out in multiple buildings. Ours was nice but a small room for a triple. Fine for one night but we couldn’t open a suitcase and the doors at the same time. Also a lack of plugs, had to use the kettle either right next to the bed or in the water closet"

"This is an absolutely beautiful location with friendly staff, great food, and clean, comfortable rooms for a reasonable price. The property feels homey, and we would have loved to stay longer than just one night. The were very accommodating to add a fourth bed to a 3-person room, and though they said it would be tight, there was still plenty of space. The restaurant was very expensive, even by Icelandic standards, but the food was good and the convenience of eating on the property after a long day of activities was great. Breakfast was perfect with a lot of homemade items."

"A lovely room in a location convenient to the glacier and beach. The views are beautiful, especially the waterfall on the back side of the property which was visible from our shower. The area is not very close to gas and food options, but the hotel across the street had a wonderful breakfast buffet. "
