This is our second stay at the Bevin House. We love it here. The hosts are friendly and so accommodating. The rooms are furnished nicely and beds are comfy. I can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in East Hampton.

The house was beautiful, and the decor was a perfect fit. The back porch was a delightful place to relax. Andrew was a gracious host, and his breakfast was a culinary experience. He even gave us a ride to my reunion party as it was raining. Don't lose him he made our stay unforgettable, if possible, we will return again.

Lovely welcome by Savannah and a very nice breakfast cooked by Christie. Dinner at Po’s Rice & Spice was excellent. Relaxing stay in a B&B full of character which included library and lounge available to guests. Internet connection was intermittent.

Timeless B & B

Step back in time at this lovely B & B. Stately trees shade the spacious grounds. Delicious breakfasts prepared by the innkeeper will probably include eggs from the chickens on site. Beautiful refreshing pool. BEWARE. Only one of the five rooms offers a private bath. Read the room description carefully before you book. Otherwise the property offers a wonderful experience!

The house itself is charming - a bit like stepping back in time - but what made the experience even better was the warm reception from Christy (who also made a wonderful breakfast and her daughter Savannah. Also had a chance to meet the owner, Dean, and learn about the house's history. I'd definitely recommend the experience to anyone. (And don't forget to visit the goats, either!)

The Bevin House Review

Andrew, the innkeeper, was so kind and knowledgeable about the Bevin History and how he attended to guests needs. He met me at arrival and helped me with my bags. Then, we sat a bit and enjoyed a homemade cookie and conversation. The Chauncey, where I stayed, was very comfortable, wonderfully decorated. Enjoyed the next morning’s breakfast, after all, Andrew mentioned he went to culinary school, and it was quite obvious by the taste!!! Delicious. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

What a great property. The outdoor space was terrific. When we arrived at 9:30pm, there was a bonfire going and we were greeted by our awesome host, Dean. He walked us through the inside and wow, what a wonderful place. It felt like we were transported back in time. He did a fabulous job restoring the property. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was prepared by Dean and he went above and beyond to make sure our special dietary needs were met, and it was fabulous. Next time we are in CT we will definitely stay at The Bevin House. I highly recommend staying here!!!

We get there take the brief tour to find out we are sharing a bathroom! Not wonderful. And the bathroom stinks like it was just used. The ceiling in the shared bathroom had more than a little mold growing . A blob of feces on the floor next to the bed .
