"I booked 2 rooms, one was much bigger and was better than the other but both adequate for 1 night. The bathroom in the smaller room was unfinished but totally usable. "Great hotel in a good location just a short walk into the city centre. Modern interior, great size family room. Lovely bar area with reasonably priced cocktails. Restaurant looked inviting too but we’d already booked elsewhere. Did have the breakfast in there though which was very good. Will be our No.1 choice for any future stays in Cambridge "

"The moment we entered the building it was like going back to the 1970's. To say a little TLC required is an understatement. Check in very slow. Our was in a separate wooden building smelling very fusty. Room was very old and basic. Shower cubicle door was very difficult to open and close and ended up coming off it's runners. This was reported to staff who said they would sort it out. After returning to the room some hours later it was obvious that nothing had been done. After complaining again we eventually got a new room which was better. The continental breakfast was less than adequate. Avoid !"

"I was surprised to find out that you had to pay £5per day for using there car park even if you were staying or visiting hotel also the room don’t have usb sockets in the room so make sure you bring a plug. I am a diabetic and needed to keep injection in a fridge over the weekend guess what? No fridge in the room, you only get two English tea bags in the room and enough milk in the room for two cups of tea the room, the second day we got more milk but no more tea bags, for the price you pay for staying at the hotel you would expect the thing’s above to be part of the booking. "
