"Awesome food great room super service "

"9 out of 10. Everything is exceptional except 1 or 2 incident in relation to food hygiene. We stayed here 7 nights and hotel staffs been very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staffsI Sujay, Krishna, Baban, bishu & prabitra fulfilled all housekeeping & cleaning requirements. Especially Sujay was top-notch & really helpful. Food was delicious including breakfast buffet, lunch buffet & in-room dining. Rahul, who attended us for all our needs, was excellent at his duty & very friendly. Tathagata , duty manager, helped us in many ways in terms of room preference etc, always pro-active, quick on decisions and customer oriented. Thanks to Tathagata for taking care of us when we checked-in late night after long flight. Raajdeep was really helpful. Staff Supriyo was excellent in lunch buffet. Only concern regarding Grand Pavillion breakfast /lunch buffet - staffs don’t follow hygiene norms (bare hands & no gloves), multiple food items left open in buffet however nobody from hotel management staffs bothered about it( multiple buffet manager allocated for buffet management but they were not so friendly / alert / proactive at all), seems under staffed in buffet to attend customer needs. It’s recommended to maintain hygiene so that customer can enjoy delicious items without any concern. We prefer ITC Royal over any other 5 star hotel in Kolkata for its amazing hospitality, spacious apartment option with wheelchair accessibility, friendly staffs at the entrance & excellent bellboys. "

" The staff are super friendly we were greeted with a welcome drink and necklaces. The room was perfect with an ocean view. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the food at the Saltwater restaurant is amazing. Very tasty full of flavour we went a few times. We had drinks there too they were great as well. It was my sister’s birthday and they sent a whole cake to the room for her. We enjoyed high tea everyday. We enjoyed the games room we played table tennis we had access to Bluetooth speaker played our own music. Met some of the other guest and had a few laughs. We played fuse-ball and a few games as well. The pool area is beautiful and great views. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Amazing hospitality, top notch hotel with facilities to match. We’re cyclists from Australia and after 5 years of travelling on bikes around the world, we were blown away by the welcoming reception that we received and nothing was too much trouble. We had chance to use the gym which had outstanding equipment. The food was fantastic and the rooms very comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations. "

"Even after booking through expedia they didn't book a room. On arrival they refuse to provide room. After so much of fight they provide a room with thin matress & blanket to sleep on ground. We suffer alot in cold."
