"I was down in Oundle for the soundle prog rock festival 3 days of fantastic prog music from 1pm to 1am ( at the Crown & rose) the hotel was next door to the venue, it was very comfortable, high quality, the TV had a USB so I could plug in some music, It had a fancy nancy coffee machine but I only like instant coffee, it is the best. the bed was comfortable, it was a wee bit hot - but I think UK hotels are going to have major problems in the years to come. Lots of old furniture and books in the corridors, nice spaces to sit and relax. . The breakfast was very good, beautiful room the mural reminded me of Anthony Phillips ( Genesis guitarist) album the Geese and The Ghost. It is a lovely hotel and parts date back to per British time, I have already booked my stay for next years soundle festival."
