"Silvergate was a remote area but close to the Lamar valley for watching wildlife. Convenient breakfast lunch place adjacent to the cabins and a hotel across the way for dinner. General store for needs. Cabins are cute and rustic."

"Front desk staff told us we would not be able to dine at the restaurant. Kitchen staff and bartender told us otherwise and gladly see us at the bar and provided us for the green game. The room however, was slightly disappointing. The lock on the door was broken and the air conditioner didn’t work. This was the day when the temperature peaked at 110 which made sleeping almost impossible."
