"We loved the sauna."

"The hotel is a short drive to town as well as to hiking trails. "

"Great location for exploring Koli National Park with clean rooms and great breakfast"

"The location was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"A great hotel, nothing to complain."

"Great place to explore Savonlinna. Right in the city center. Room is clean and cozy. Kitchen is very good with fridge, kettle and microwave."

"Huone oli siisti ja vuodevaatteet uudet. Sänky oli melko kapea. Kylpyhuone siisti mutta suihkusaippuapullo oli tyhjä. Oli helleaika joten huoneessa oli kuuma. Tuuletin auttoi hieman ja pelkällä pussilakanalla nukkuminen antoi kuitenkin ihan hyvät unet. Paikka tuntui hieman "päivittämättömältä" "

"We stayed here for three nights, and it was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. The location in the national park is stunning, the staff were warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the views were simply breathtaking. Everything made for a truly memorable stay. "The hôtel is very well located and we can do some hikes from over there"

"Aivan huikealla näköalalla oleva majoitus. Lisäksi ravintola Solitaryn viiden ruokalajin menu todella loistava. Pakko tulla syömään ensi vuonna uudestaan."

"Great vegan breakfast options"

"Beautiful place set by lake outside the town of Puumala. It was a very peaceful and serene setting, a great place to go to get away from busy cities. I would say that the staff were friendly rather than warm and helpful."

"The hotel is a bit dated, but very nice, well-maintained, and clean. The staff was very friendly, and the sauna is included. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room and is delicious and varied. The location is lovely, right on the lake and the promenade."

"Fantastic food with good service"

"The apartment was lovely. Perfect for a family of 4. The hotel information could be updated to provide clearer information about additional costs, like linens, transport from rail/airports, which train station is actually closest. A folder including I for on the area would be nice, too, for first time visitors to the area. Still, Markku provided information quickly when we emailed. "

"Great stay, tasty breakfast and ideal location!"

"Very nice people. Relaxing area."

"Clean room; staff; breakfast"

"Karelian Village is a unique place to stay, very quiet"
