"Best hotel very clean amazing stuff and good breakfast "

"I am not sure how this hotel got all the high ratings when me and my wife both agreed that it was slightly BELOW average at its best. Cons: The location itself was very dated. The toilet in our room was very old and loose to the floor. It made so much noise when flushed that we decided to not flush it in the middle of the night as to not wake the other person. The in-room safe had no key so we couldn't use that even though I would have liked to. Seating are for breakfast is very limited so we got stuck taking food all the way back to our room. Pros: Very convenient to the expressway, gas, food and retail shopping if you need it. Plenty of parking including an overflow lot for larger vehicles. The food choices for breakfast were good with plenty of options. The staff is really friendly and the location was clean despite being dated. Would I stay here again should my travel plans take me through Corbin Kentucky? Probably not."

"It was amazing to be able.to basically walk out from the hotel and hike. I was surprised there was no air conditioning and it was hot at least 80°. The bar was closed on Friday & Saturday night. There was a note posted on the door it didnt say why just closed. The hotel is old and showing considerable wear. Our room had a huge stain in the carpet. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud and rattled you could not use it. The water was hard to adjust in the shower and had very low water pressure. It was very nice to have a private balcony. The staff was very nice. All that being said it is a beautiful area and the hiking is wonderful. The hotel was ok just manage your expectations. Would definitely return to the area."
