"I liked the modern payment system that was used for booking the trip, the food was great, the location was as described. I disliked the communication with the reseller this booking goes through. They dropped the ball on communicating pickup time and itinerary confirmation, even when i tried calling and emailing them. I also disliked the value of what you get with this trip. Id expect better cleanliness and standards for this trip. I also disliked when the staff on the island said i needed to pay...

"Don’t go expecting a resort and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The Guna that run the island are all warm, friendly, helpful. Great snorkelling tours and beautiful clean water. The accommodations are very simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom that was kept very clean. A great place to get away from it all. The ride through the mountain was very potholy and winding so if you get carsick definitely come prepared."

"The Ordovician Hotel is a hidden gem on the peaceful west side of Isla Grande. From the moment we booked, the service was personal and seamless—thank you, Yohan! We were welcomed by name, greeted with a delicious tropical drink, and felt like cherished guests from start to finish. We stayed in the Peacock Room, which had stunning views of the pool, restaurant, and beach. The room was beautifully curated, with luxurious bedding, high-end amenities, and thoughtful touches like a handwritten welcome card. The food was phenomenal, fusing Panamanian flavors with Asian influences—fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. Special thanks to Sebastián, Chef Stiven, and the entire team for making every meal a delight. The outdoor massage on the yoga deck overlooking the ocean was magical, and we loved relaxing in the sauna, cold plunge, and hammocks under shaded palapas. We even extended our stay an extra day! A heartfelt thank-you to Rick and Loan for their vision, presence, and commitment to uplifting Panamanian talent. This place is more than a hotel—it’s an experience of luxury, soul, and connection.
