We found an abandoned missile silo. We were completely unprepared. We needed way more light (flashlights, headlamps, etc), gloves, masks, maybe a bubble for our body?! So freaky and fun and crazy rad.
The struggle is real. It’s not a jet... it’s one of the many horseflies that was harassing me as I was trying to photograph a site for the American Battlefield Trust. This one was so persistent it showed up in more than one photo. #adventure

The property was amazing! Very comfortable accommodating everything you needed. The biggest surprise is how wonderful the grounds were. There was a Koi fish pond, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit and hammock didn't get to enjoy it as much as I'd like to but I will add an extra day next time to do that ...
